On Christmas Shopping and Human Auctions
I finished my x-mas shopping yesterday!!! whooo!!! it was a really long and busy day for me... my back muscles still hurt! I was shopping for 4 whole hours without stopping, just walking...searching for "wonderful" gifts I can give to those dear people :D it was a total money burn!!! on my way home i only had 20 pesos...just enought to get me home...huhu, ang sad!!! thousands of pesos down the drain...but i guess it's worth it.. :D it's the season of giving naman, eh...:P
this year, the no. of gifts i bought didn't even reach 30!!! that's a record!! i remember last year, there were a 100+ people on my shopping list....oh well, that was senior year and it was given that you had to give gifts to ALL your friends for the past 4 years :D
after my LOOONG day shopping, it was traffic pa going back to the dorm...! args..i was so hungry (i wasn't able to eat the whole day..haha) just to find out na closed early ung canteen sa dorm cause there's going to be a party...good thing "ganda" lent me her lunchbox so i can take out food.. thanks! :D
afterwards...we (3rd floor girls) were hyped up because of the HUMAN AUCTION...!! our floormates thea, cheenee, and shirl will be auctioned..super stage mom naman kami..haha lalu na ako kay althea...i arranged her hair...we fixed her outfit...taught her tricks how to "sell" herself! hahaha....but the most exciting part of the human auction for us was when we were bidding for "Bok" i think his real name is elfermin mallari.. not sure... hehe, cause one of my floormates, hannah, wants to buy him..(este his time pala) and the reason was just because she didn't want ne1 else to buy him...at wala naman xang balak to spend any time with him...(weird, i know) ....bidding starts at 100 pesos...sum1 bid 200, so we bid 500, then sum1 bid 1k, we bid 1500, sum1else topped us with 2k, we bid 2500, the BA girls topped it with 3k, we bid 3500, they topped it 3600, then the C-Fold girls topped it with 4k, every1 was approaching hannah asking if she was serious with it...because her original budget was only 3K, every1 was already offering to chip in...so we topped it with 4500 but the other floors were so stubborn they topped it 4,600...it ended with us bidding 5k....whoo!!! sold to the 3rd floor girls!! (hannah in particular)
after the auction for all the corridors, it was time for the food, raffle prizes and gift giving...we already went up to our rooms after that..we didn't stay for the "party"...i wrapped the gifts i bought..finished at 230 am...tumambay sa room nina hannah until 3:30...(i didn't realize it was that late or early) kac they'll already go out to hear the simbang gabi mass...i didn't go with them cause i was really sleepy and i have a busy Sunday ahead of me...(with all the reaction papers, assignments and long exam i have) i didn't get the nice teachers who don't give any more work due to the christmas season..auggh!
