HP rush
waaah...nabura ung una kong sinulat pero here I go again..here comes the first hoarde of the OotP Pictures...grabe...it gives me such a rush...an adrenaline rush that only HP can give...hai, ang dami kong comments, Luna is quite pretty compared dun sa pic nia dati as Evanna lang, pangit ni Cho with bangs, mejo may kagandahan din si Ginny, siempre super ganda pa rin ni Emma with longer hair..and the boys? lahat ata sila nagpagupit eh..mukhang eiwan si dan, rup at ang twins..pero i love 'em all still...waah at nasan si draco? bakt ala pang pic? hehe..neweiz, umbridge is quite fine, not how i imagined her kac mas mataba ung naimagine ko pero pwede na rin..hai basta..grabe...nung nakita ko ung picture ng DA it struck me na this is it!! dun ko na fully realize na Ootp is coming na talaga...hai, i'll stop ranting na lang nga and let you feast on the photos one more time...you'll want to try mugglenet nga pala for the larger version of the pics..kk?

a milestone sa kakikayan
magiiba muna ihip ng hangin ngayon. pwede muna ang mga grammatical errors at tagalog ako magpopost. ang kikay kac ng topic kaya mahirap gawing formal ang post. hai, tungkol lang naman toh sa isang milestone sa bonding ng mga coper girls. nakalimutan kong ipost kahapon dahil busy sa pagreresearch hanggang 830. pero dahil ginaganahan akong magpost ngaun eh so go. grabe, sobrang shocked kaya kami nung cnabi nilang bigla nung wed. na gradpic na da next day. siempre pa-arte effect na waah ndi pa kami makakapagpaparlor, facial, etc. lahat ng kaartehan ng mga girls pero siempre ndi naman kami serioso gusto lang namin na mga 1 week before siguro sabihin para makapagprepare man lang kac grad pic un. Ibang usapan na. Siempre ang one and only pinagkakatiwalaan ko sa buhok ko, Ate Aia ay aking dali-daling pinuntahan at nagpaappointment ng 6:15 am the next day. Sinabi na nia ung gagawin nia sa hair ko at siempre padala na rin ako kay Yayi ng curler. Ako naman eh nagdala ng crimper. Si Cesca ang nagdala ng make-up. C cha at Pau eh nagcontribute din sa make-up. ang aga ko talagang gumising para patuyuin ang hair taps ang aga kong dumating sa skul. kakaiba. ahehe, da nyt before nga bili pa kami ng maraming sanrio eh. hai, aun xcited maxado sa hair pero ang ganda ng kinalabasan. Aia can do wonders. Compliments din from yani, rachelle etc. hai. Neweiz, Math time eh naging parlor time. Bait ni mam gumboc to have offered este to allow us pala kac ako ang nagpaalam para magpaganda. Si cesca ang taga curl, ako taga straight. May times na habang kinucurl ako ni Cesca ay sinistraight ni Gaux hair nia, para nga daw kaming mga unggoy na nagkukutuhan..ahehe...Aun, hanggang dumami na ung naayusan ko ng buhok. Cna pau, princess, marvi, gaux, etc. edi after ng hair, direcho sa makeup, pulbos muna taps si pau may dalang cheek stain pangcolor ng cheeks. si cha naman ang may dala ng lip gloss or lip balm. nagkakagulo na ang lahat. si caze mejo bad trip na kac ndi pa nacucurl ang hair. c yayi naman dalagang pilipina sa hair..ang cute!!...c cha..conscious naman maxado sa hair, c buban walang pakealam, ndi talaga nagayos...washu..aun, isang malaking challenge si kadiao sa straighter pero kinaya ko! ahaha, peace tau kadiao! aun, taps sabi nila ang start ng pic taking eh 830, 9 na ndi pa rin kami taps...ahehe, sa eyeliner master na tagalagay si caze, eyeshadow naman si cesca..so make-up make-up lahat...taps ndi naman namalayan, taps na lahat ng boys, nagmamadali na for the picture taking, practice ung smile..aun, tapos biglang tapos na...lahat ng pinaghirapan namin pang dalawang click lang ng camera...so to think na ang importante lang samin nun eh gradpic, ang totoo ung bonding namin bilang girls ng coper ang importante sa moment na un. walang selfish na sia lang ang magmumukhang owkei sa picture....all for one, one for all..kaht isa lang ang nagdala, naambunan lahat...nga pala isa pang surprise ang hair ni blessie, pag nakacrimp super cute!! hehe...hai, minsan lang ang gradpic moment sa highskul and i'm glad that we enjoyed it...and it became a form of bonding for coper...means to say na di lang kami GC, puede rin kaming maging kikay..hehe...

Birthday with a Bang
The bonds of friendship are like Hercules' hair, they can never be broken. Sometimes these bonds might be tested by time but in the end nothing will be able to break them if the hearts' of the friends who are bonded are one. I-Badillo, the section that changed my world, went out today for Nikko's birthday bash. It has been quite some time since the last gimmick but it only seems like yesterday that we were enjoying each other's company. We've known each other for four long years and 'til now, we're still solid. We've parted ways but in an instant, we could make our paths meet. Laughter will always be the main ingredient of each other's company. Saying I enjoyed their company would be an understatement. It's just something special that we share. I can't seem to explain it but it's there. People say that we're the most bonded first year section. Other people don't even communicate with their first year sections anymore but Badillo will still stand strong because 'What's Da Point?' Today's moment might not be perfect but it's still magical, like fireworks. Before I narrate the events that lead up to this spectacular event, let me tell you something about fireworks. Fireworks are very special. They could only be seen on special occassions and unique moments. Though quite rare, they're still very pretty, exciting, magical, give me any other positive adjective and it would describe this wonder. They make you speechless and make you feel like a kid again. They make you open-mouthed. Fireworks are like the times that Badillo goes out. They're quite rare but still every time we're with each other it's so magical and tons of fun.
Today was quite weird, you know. The morning was spent taking the Metropolitan Achievement Test which modesty aside, we could've taken during our third grade in Elem. and still aced it. After that we were told that we wouldn't have classes anymore so we just went to the UCB and watched the second years with their field demonstrations. I, as usual, was trying to imitate the steps. When the clock struck 12, the STEP contestants went to the main lobby for our trip to Maceda High School where the awarding ceremony will take place. They said that it will be done by 2 pm but I guess 2 pm actually meant 4 or 5. Filipino time as always. At that time the Badillo people are already calling me and I wanted to leave but of course, we had to wait for the announcement of MaSci as the 4th placer-overall. The ride home seemed like eternity but we finally arrived at MaSci. While inside the van, Baby J was asking me where they would eat. I found it funny but touching. It's just that I remember all those times that we go out and it would always be me who'd have the final say as to where we would eat. I remember all the outings and gimmicks that I've planned and organized. I guess I with the other Badillo am used to being the mother. Even if they sometimes make fun of my overbossy nature, I still love them for being understanding of my nature. Well, before I so rudely interrupted myself, I was saying that when we arrived at MaSci, we found the office locked. I was already panicking because it was already 530 and people are already waiting for me at SM MoA. In the end, I decided to go on and just ask my sister to bring my bag home if ever someone opened the office. I thank her for that. Anyhoo, as I was riding the LRT, which by the way has no aircon and is one of those which have passengers shoulder to shoulder. I rushed to find them and there they were, laughing their heads off. As usual, Daryll is the head of the jokes. It's so nice to be back in their company. As we watch the fireworks together, I can't help myself but sigh and think of all the happy memories we had had. These people will really stay in my heart forever.

A punch on the head by the Eagles
As the title implies that is what I felt the moment I got home yesterday evening at about 8 pm. Yesterday was the Ateneo College Entrance Test. Unlike the UPCAT I was not able to prepare for this test, not even opening one book. I was quite nervous since people keep saying that ACET is a lot more difficult than UPCAT especially when it comes to English and Math. I expected the worst but at that moment I had the "Bahala Na!" system in me. I woke up at about 8 am. Took a bath, prepared myself, ate a light breakfast and set off for the North Ave. St. of MRT where I'll be meeting my dad. I was not aware that it was at the other side of the MRT Station. I had never travelled using the MRT alone. It was a first for me. I liked passing through the GMA - Kamuning Station and seeing the GMA Building. Anyhow, more on that later, as I reached my destination, I found my dad and we walked a bit. Once reaching SM North Edsa we waited for a taxi and set off for Ateneo. We passed UP along the way and it seemed like yesterday that I was just taking the UPCAT but it has already been more than a month. After twists and turns we arrived at our destination. I was so stupid to forget the map of the place but the guard pointed us to the right direction, Ateneo High School, where I'll be taking my test. To my surprise, the first MaScian that I saw was Anna. I was even more surprised to know that she will be taking the test at the same room. I have been wishing for a companion who will take the test at Room 14 and alas I was gifted with two companions, the other one was Ralph who was already running for he was late but the test started late so he got there just in time. Upon arriving I bought food and ate at the cafeteria. Then Anna and I met a few other MaScians. We met Therese, Royce, Nikko, Ina, Christian, Christelle, and Mike. Therese, Anna and I walked around the HS campus while waiting for the time. We suddenly realized that we're all Urey and wondered why Urey never meets up and goes out like all our other previous sections. Anyhoo, we had some catching up to do so stories were pouring out of our mouths. When it was time to line up, we were so bad cause we cut the line and proceeded in front. It was a very long wait even if we're already lined up and it was so hot. Good thing Anna had a fan. When we were already asked to proceed to the rooms I was surprised that we would only be taking the test in the classrooms when it was boiling inside the rooms.
Well, what can I say about the test? It was average. It was not difficult and not that easy either. What gave me a headache was the high temperature inside the room. It bothered me throughout the test. After the test, at exactly 6:20, Ralph, Anna and I set off to meet our parents. Upon seeing my dad we rushed to go because he still had to go to work in Pampanga at 10 pm. Waiting for a taxi was like waiting for snow to fall. My dad's temper was already being tested by the lack of available taxis. Good thing that heaven sent one and it wasn't traffic. When I arrived once again at the North Ave. St. I was already hungry, tired and my head was pounding. My only entertainment during that ride were the two teens who got in the train at the GMA-Kamuning Station who were from the audition fro the Starstruck! the Next Level. Not to be judgmental or anything but I don't think that they have the 'It' factor for Starstruck! They were talking about the previous Starstruck batches and it was amusing to listen to them silently. All in all, the day was a fruitful one and I think I did good in my exam. I just have to wait for the Winter Months to find out the results of the two college entrance exams I have taken wherein during that time I hope I'll be asking the Question: "Maroons or Eagles?"

A Bundle of Nerves
Phew! Yesterday and today are two of the most nerve-wracking days of my life. Yesterday was the start of the parliamentary competition. I've never been so nervous in my life. Now, I could say that I know how nervous a person can get. I'm almost at the point of tears and my hands were shaking and everything. I was happy that I was able to get a point of order and have my objection sustained. I was even happier that our group did not get even one point of order and that everything went smoothly. Every minute was nerve-wracking. There were butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I'm pressured because we still have loads of quizzes to take. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the experience very much.
Today was the continuation of the contest. Though everyone was already saying that we are the winners we still got nervous. The time while we were waiting for the announcement of winners seemed like eternity. When the moment of truth arrived, of course, it was announced that we won first. Everyone was game for the victory party but I really had to go. AC, Cha and Gaux will be having their birthday bash. As I joined the Mendel group I was already haggard but was excited nonetheless. Well, it would take a long long post to tell you what happened but in summary it was really fun and exciting. Really! It's like our paths never separated. It's like going back in time. I felt really glad to be back in their company. I miss all of you guys. Really, I do. I'm so relieved that after all the time that we've been apart, we're still connected. I love you Mendel.
P.S. I seem to have been so busy that I almost forgot that tomorrow is my ACET. Well, I'll just have to wing it.

State of Shock
I hate my dentist! How dare he get out of town when he told us to go back to his clinic last saturday. That was the only Sat. that we were available. Actually, we didn't really want to go to Pampanga because of the distribution of cards and due to the huge pile of homework. Well, since we did not know that he wasn't around, we went home. Tita Cristy was the one who got our cards. After arriving from the clinic, fuming with anger, I called her and told her that our trip to Pampanga was useless and asked about our grades. She then dictated our grades with my ranking and the top 15 of Copernicus. Shocked, awed, lost for words, these are just a few to describe my reaction as my aunt mention the names. As my aunt was mentioning the names, I can't stop myself from commenting. My sister also has her comments. To find out that I reached top 5 came as a big shock for me because I wasn't aiming that high. I was actually aiming just for top 8, top 7 max. As long as my grades reached the required grade for a Gold Medal, I'll already be contented. I never imagined buying for honors. I guess my slogan of out of love, out of inspiration, out of life is actually the reason for my achievement. My sole focus is on studies, I never knew that this would be the reward for my hard work. I am not at ease. I have to maintain my stand or rise. There is nowhere to go but up. I'm sure everyone will work double time and doubly hard this next quarter and I plan to do the same. My current focus is on the parliamentary contest but after the contest has passed I'll be back right on track. GC mode again. I just hope that I could still do better next time. I also wish everyone else luck. I know that everyone really works hard and I'm sure everyone's hard work will pay off, one way or another. I guess that's all for now. Toodles!
