Recap
Another week has passed, and I am now officially a metal-mouth. Well, I can't actually describe how I look, for those people who are curious to know. But before that, let me just first recap what this final week of April brought into the life of an ordinary 15-year old. ~ Monday -April 24 ~ This was my grandmother's birthday, not much happened. We just went to her house and celebrated, as usual. ~ Tuesday - April 25 ~ Today was the first day of my review session. I went there around 930 AM to take the diagnostic test. I sat for the test for about an hour and I got 75/85 in English and 31/40 in Mathematics. Well, I didn't know what to think of my scores when the checker told me I got the highest in both subjects. I was shocked and the owner of the review center, who is a friend of my mom's, told me I need not review. I said I still wanted to and me, being from MaSci, seems to be a big deal to them. I met new friends and well, that day was the review for Chemistry wherein the teacher just recapped the lessons we had the previous year and she is actually a good teacher. I understood most of the lessons that I missed last year. I watched Charmed during the evening and it was quite a magical night. ~ Wednesday - April 26 ~ Today, I attended my review session. I already got the hang of commuting to and from Pro-Tech-the name of my review center. I rarely commute when I'm in Pampanga because we usually take the car or I usually go with my best friend there, Kristina, who gives me lifts. Well, we had Math and our lessons were really, really easy. Our teacher actually asked me to discuss my answers in front of the class. During dinner time my dad bought us roasted chicken, liempo, shrimps and crabs because it will be the last "real" dinner Nina and I will have for a few weeks. I slept not really thinking about the next day when.... ~ Thursday - April 27 ~ This is it. Today is the day. I had my braces. At first, my teeth didn't hurt but right in the middle of our session while our Chem teacher was discussing, I suddenly felt pain. It was as if my teeth were moving from their permanent positions or something like that. I couldn't speak properly. I couldn't even bite so that means no food for me. When I arrived home, I was so hungry and I was in so much pain. I found out that I can eat noodles and soup. So, It would be noodles and soup for me for a week or so. ~ Friday - April 28 ~ I discovered that I could eat spaghetti and ice cream but I can't eat fries, a waisted order of large fries was a proof. I wonder, if skinny as I am, I wouldn't be able to eat for a week or so, what will happen to me? My sister was also wearing braces but everyone knows she's a lot more healthy than I am. Could I go any skinnier? Anyways, at last, after two weeks of hell, our air conditioning unit is finally repaired. Thank God. Oh, and I really missed texting. My line was cut last Sunday or Monday due to an over balanced account. ~ Well, so far, so good. My life hasn't been much fun but at least I get to go out of the house, stretch my legs and use my brain. Anyway, I really miss everyone and I still can't decide if I'm going to have my hair relaxed or straightened. What do you think??? I really, really miss the special people in my life. I hope they know that, and I hope they miss me too. ^_^ Midsummer night's eve is approaching. Enjoy the sun while it lasts. Rain will soon be upon us. I hope that before that happens. The happiness the sunshine brings will reach me here, in my humble abode.
